About this Tour
An unforgettable journey between Italy and Switzerland to discover some of the most beautiful places in the Alps. With beautiful excursions we go to discover hidden corners, enchanting panoramic points and the "alpine" environment with its pastures, grazing animals and a bucolic atmosphere. The colorful villages that you visit during the trip are beautiful, where you can discover the traditions of the life of the mountain people who have adapted to this particular environment.

Day 1: Meet the guide at the airport
private transfer to Como lake area, accommodation in the hotel and welcome dinner in one of the typical restaurants. Overnight stay in Lake Como area. HB

Day 2: Hiking in the clouds in the mountains surrounding Lake Como
Today we are going on a beautiful hike through the mountain pastures surrounding Lake Como. As we climb, the landscape and vegetation change, the views become magnificent and it is not uncommon to encounter grazing animals. Overnight stay in Lake Como area. HB (picnic lunch included)

Day 3: Hike & canoe
In the morning a beautiful walk awaits us with a view of the lake among the historic villages that overlook this pearl nestled between the mountains. In the afternoon a canoe excursion in the northern area of ??the lake to get in touch even more with this precious lake environment. Overnight stay in Lake Como area. HB

Day 4: Bernina Express to Switzerland
Today we move towards Switzerland with a private van and then with the famous red Bernina train. The route of this train winds through the mountains with amazing views of valleys, alpine lakes and glaciers. We cross the Bernina Pass at 2,328 m and then descend towards the beautiful Engadine and St. Moritz. Check in at the hotel and walk along the pretty lake. BB

Day 5: Hiking in Engadina
After breakfast we gain altitude with the cable car and then on foot we go to discover beautiful alpine environments surrounded by wonderful panoramas. Once back down there is the possibility of visiting the Segantini Museum and walking around the town of St. Moritz. HB (picnic lunch included)

Day 6: Walking close to the glaciers
Today we explore a side valley that will bring us in front of one of the glacial tongues that descends from the Bernina. The environment is harsh, alpine and the path a little more challenging but the view will certainly repay the effort. HB (picnic lunch included)

Day 7: Way to Milan
We leave the Engadine to return south, we pass the fascinating Maloja Pass and travel through the narrow Alpine valleys that lead to Chiavenna where we stop for lunch and a walk. We then continue south until we reach Milan. Walk in the city and overnight stay in Milan. BB

Day 8: Departure

  • Enjoy the fabulous views of Lake Como and the delightful village of Bellagio with its historic villas, take the opportunity for a nice swim in the lake, like the locals!
  • Take the panoramic red train that with various curves and tunnels reaches the Bernina Pass.
  • Hike along beautiful paths to immerse yourself in the alpine atmosphere, great view on mountains, glaciers and alpine lakes are waiting for you
  • Taste the local products, the fabulous alpine cuisine and the wine produced from grapes grown in the "heroic vineyards"
